Measuring both values with the same instrument increases speed, simplifies procedures and enhances the accuracy of the results.

| Density and refractive index combined! In many industries (e.g. petrochemical or flavors and fragrances) the determination of both values is already a standard method. In other industries, the simultaneous determination of density and refractive index is used to determine concentrations in multicomponent mixtures. That is no problem for the DR combined meters - besides the density and refractive index, they can also calculate up to two results from the density, the refractive index or from both results using formulas or concentration tables previously entered. |
